After a grueling online qualifier down to the top 8 teams at LAN, ELCariman emerged on top of all teams. They secured victories against Babashufo in round 1, Pushing My Limits in the upper bracket semifinals, and Team Spirit in both the upper bracket finals and the Grand Finals.
ELCariman (Radiant) vs Team Spirit (Dire) Grand Finals:
ELCariman initiated the draft with a Lion support pick. Unfazed, Team Spirit confidently selected Timbersaw and Techies. ELCariman responded with Magnus and introduced IO to their lineup for the first time in the top 8, catching their opponents off guard. Team Spirit countered with Winter Wyvern and chose Luna as their carry. To exploit the lack of catch in Team Spirit’s lineup, ELCariman selected Puck and later paired IO with Ursa, creating a formidable duo. Team Spirit rounded out their picks with Invoker as their mid hero.
Sweet Early Game:
The match began with Magnus securing first blood by killing Team Spirit’s Luna, setting the tone for the laning stage. This was followed by a double kill from Elcariman’s Ursa and IO in the bottom lane. Team Spirit attempted to balance the early game with an Invoker rotation that ended in IO’s death. However, Elcariman’s early aggression, pressuring Luna in her jungle and killing her at least three times early in the game, was relentless.
By the 9-minute mark, Elcariman controlled the game’s tempo, taking Team Spirit’s ancient stacks. During 19 minutes of the game, Team Spirit set-up a trap for IO-Ursa. Invoker showed himself in the buttom lane. Puck immediately jump and coil him as well as the relocate from IO bringing his Ursa with him. But out of no where Team Spirit Winter Wyvern cast his winters curse on IO, that instantly delete him. The chase continue as Team Spirit took down Ursa.
A mini skirmish on Rosh Pit at 21mins. ElCariman caught Wyvern, and their Magnus catching Techies in the air as he tries to jump inside the Rosh Pit. This was eventually turned into Aegis advantage for Elcariman.
Bloodbath at Minute 30:
At 30mins mark. Luna was caught offguard by Magnus at top river. Resulting in an ugly team fight. Team Spirit manage to take down IO and chase Ursa eventually killing him. Meanwhile ElCariman’s Lion stunned Invoker and cast his finger of death as Puck, with parasma and blink dagger, manage to finish the kill, in exchange with their Lion and also took down Techies. Team Spirit’s Wyvern bought back but eventually killed along the clash. As Timbersaw, with shivas guard,eternal shroud, kaya, blink dagger, chasing the Magnus and killing him at the bottom river. The clash finished with Elcariman’s Puck and Team Spirit Timbersaw as the only survivors.
A Check Mate Play by ElCariman:
32 mins. A fake Roshan attempt by Elcariman as they pop their smoke of deceit. As Team Spirit slowly moving at the bottom side of their triangle. Magnus jump in Timbersaw, isolating him. Puck also jump into the face of Luna and Techies, taking down the latter. Luna pop her bkb to survive. Invoker took down the Lion. But Ursa manage to stay close and scratch Luna to death! Timbersaw was the only survivor in Team Spirit.
The Boy that Loves Puck:
ElCariman’s Puck at 38mins have parasma, threads, aghanim’s scepter, blink dagger, eye of skadi and a gem of true sight. As they climb to the dire triangle. They catch the Winter Wyvern. Out positioning the Luna and eventually killed her. Puck is beyond godlike at this moment with the triple kill. Even the cameraman himself, cannot catch where the Puck is.
Icing on the Cake:
At 41mins. ElCariman trying to close out the game. As Magnus successfully caught Invoker at the enemy’s tier 3 tower. Instantly deleting him. Timbersaw manning up the frontline for Team Spirit as his Luna trying to dishout the damage. But ElCariman’s heroes are too beefy at this point. As they took down all heroes of their enemy. GG was called! As ElCariman crowned as the champion!
